Gyeongju is an ancient city with a thousand years of history, and the entire village has been designated a national park. In this city, dotted with Silla ruins, there is a restaurant in a traditional Korean house that was built about 100 years ago.

Doseol Village, a restaurant reminiscent of a traditional Korean izakaya-style restaurant called a "Chumak," is located next to the low wall surrounding Daereungwon (Cheonmachong), a complex of ancient tombs dating back about 1,500 years. Upon entering the restaurant, you will find a large garden. Surrounding the garden are dining rooms with different meanings, such as Musimhwa, Gyeongjunamsan, Suryuhwagae, and Gandalba. There is also a flat-bed seat in the garden called Nodanboseki, where you can dine.

You can enjoy about 15 different dishes, including three-color namul (bean sprouts, spinach, and fern), vegetables to wrap around rice, simmered pacific saury, cabbage tofu jjim (tofu wrapped in cabbage and steamed), and chijimi, and orders can be made for two or more people.

★Meal expenses
The Korean set menu is 1 won per person, and other menu items such as chijimi are also available.
