In 1923, three stone Buddhas scattered at the foot of Namsan Mountain in Gyeongju were erected side by side at their present site. Since all three spheres have very similar sculpting techniques, it is believed that they were the objects of worship as the Three Buddhas from the time they were made.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The central main Buddha has a convex flesh (also known as bone) above its head, and has a double hexagonal system with a topknot shape. Its smooth, round eyebrows, half-closed eyes with a smile, the corners of its mouth with a smile, and the innocent square smile of its plump cheeks with a deep grin, show a friendly and gentle grace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignwide\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" src=\"https:\/\/korea.tabi.kr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/5-7.jpg\" alt=\"Baeri Standing Stone Buddha Triad\" class=\"wp-image-18515\"\/><figcaption>\ubcf8\uc874\ubd88(\uac00\uc6b4\ub370)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The kidney, which is sculpted five times the size of the head, has a relatively large hand carved from the head of the Buddha, and the right hand holds the palm of the hand in front of the chest, saying, \u201cIf you believe in me, it removes all fears and gives you comfort.\u201d is taking the shimuoein (\u65bd\u7121\u754f\u5370), and the left hand is making the yeowonin (\u4e0e\u9858\u5370) with the palm facing down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, the overall appearance of the Buddha statue, neatly arranged in a U-shape on a thick burial mound, looks dignified, but the innocent child-like expression and the inconsistent appearance of the Buddha create a friendly atmosphere as if a country grandfather adores his grandson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignwide\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" src=\"https:\/\/korea.tabi.kr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/4-8.jpg\" alt=\"\u5b9d\u51a0\u306eMiddle\u592e\u306b\u963f\u5f25\u9640\u5982\u6765\u5316\u4ecf\u304c\u523b\u307e\u308c\u3066\u3044\u308b\u3053\u3068\u304b\u3089\u89b3\u97f3\u83e9\u85a9\u3067\u3042\u308b\u3053\u3068\u304c\u308f\u304b\u308a\u307e\u3059\u3002 \" class=\"wp-image-18516\"\/><figcaption> <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The left Bodhisattva, wearing an overhead garb and smiling, holds the sermon with his right hand on his chest, his left hand hanging down and holding a water bottle. The water bottle the Bodhisattva is holding is a sign that promises to help sentient beings in pain, just like giving water to a thirsty person. Amitabha Buddha (\u963f\u5f4c\u9640\u5982\u4f86\u5316\u4f5b Buddha) is engraved in the center of the storage, indicating that it is a Bodhisattva of Guanyin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignwide\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" src=\"https:\/\/korea.tabi.kr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/3-9.jpg\" alt=\"Baeri Standing Stone Buddha Triad\" class=\"wp-image-18517\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Bodhisattva on the right, holding a lotus flower in his left hand and holding a lotus flower in his right hand on the lotus pedestal and holding the hem with his right hand, is slightly different from the left Bodhisattva in sculpting technique and attire of Jangsam.
