Andong Hahoe Village was also registered as a World Heritage Site in 2010 along with Yangdong Folk Village in Gyeongju, Gyeongsangbuk-do.<\/p>\n<p>Hahoe Village is a village where traditional houses of aristocrats and thatched houses where ordinary people lived during the Joseon Dynasty remain the same as before, and it is not an artificial village like a folk village, but a living cultural property where people actually live. The entire village is designated as an important folk resource.<\/p>\n<p>Hahoe Village, where you can feel the breath of the customs of the Joseon Dynasty by looking around the old houses one by one, is also known as the hometown of Pungsan Ryu because it produced many famous great people from the Pungsan Ryu family, including Ryu Un-yong and Ryu Seong-ryong brothers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Yangjindang Yangjindang and Chunghyodang, which were designated as treasures, and Yangjindang was built in the 1600s as the family home of Pungsan Ryu, who also lived in Ryu Un-yong.<\/p>\n<p>Chunghyodang is a building built to commemorate Ryu Seong-ryong after Ryu Seong-ryong&#8217;s death, and exhibits relics of Ryu Seong-ryong. In addition, there are many old houses designated as important folk materials such as Namchon House, Bukchon House, and Iljae House, and Ryu Seong-ryong&#8217;s 13th grandson, Ryu Si-Won&#8217;s home Village, it is recommended to climb Buyongdae, 65 meters above sea level, across the river, which was popular as a filming location for dramas and movies in Korea.<\/p>\n<p>It is best to use a ferry crossing the Nakdonggang River, which surrounds Hahoe Village in an S shape, and if the boat does not float, take a car for about 5 minutes to go around the other side of the river and reach the bottom of the Buyongdae Cliff.<\/p>\n<p>Films and dramas such as KBS drama Juno starring Busan actor Jang Hyuk, Bae Yong-joon&#8217;s movie scandal, and Hajji Won&#8217;s KBS drama Hwang Jin-jin were filmed at Buyongdae in Hahoe Village and Okyeonjeongsa Temple under the cliff of Buyongdae, making it a popular tourist destination for many
